Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos Bid Farewell to Beloved “Live” Studio

For decades, the studio at 7 Lincoln Square in New York City was more than just a set — it was home for Kelly Ripa and her longtime daytime talk show. It’s where Kelly joined Live with Regis and Kathie Lee in 2001 and where she reunited with her husband, Mark Consuelos, after he became her permanent co-host in 2023.

On April 1, the couple recorded their final episode at the iconic Upper West Side studio. Kelly teared up, saying, “Our kids grew up here,” as they reflected on 37 years of television history, friendships, and unforgettable moments.

The show has now officially moved to Disney’s new Robert A. Iger Building at 7 Hudson Square. Until the brand-new set premiered on April 14, the crew filmed in a temporary space — right near the cafeteria.

Mark expressed gratitude to the staff, saying, “Some of our closest friends are people that work here… We owe a lot to this place.” Kelly kept things light, joking during the move, “Things are falling apart — it’s time to go!”

Though the farewell was emotional, both hosts are embracing the new chapter with excitement. Oprah Winfrey even urged Kelly not to retire, telling her that she and Mark are a vital part of people’s mornings — bringing warmth, humor, and comfort.

Summary:

  • Kelly and Mark said goodbye to their longtime “Live” studio after nearly four decades.
  • The show now broadcasts from Hudson Square in a newly built Disney studio.
  • Fans can expect the same chemistry, charm, and heartfelt moments — just in a brand-new space.
