

Today, TikTok announced “TikTok Trivia,” a new 5-day live quiz for US users 18 or older for a chance to win a share of a $500,000 prize pool by answering multiple-choice questions related to beauty, lifestyle, music and sport.
The experience is also featured by Lionsgate and “John Wick Chapter 4,” so users will see trivia questions based on the “John Wick” franchise as well as “surprises and integrations,” the company wrote in the announcement. of today. “John Wick Chapter 4” will premiere on March 24.
Users can participate in TikTok’s live trivia sessions by visiting the @TikTok channel on TikTok LIVE. Users must attend the quiz sessions on time and answer all questions correctly for a chance to win a share of the prize money.
TikTok Trivia starts next week on February 22 and ends on February 26.
Starting today, over 18 users in the US can sign up for the experience by clicking a trivia widget on the For You feed. Users can also search #TikTokTrivia or directly visit the @TikTok account.

During the first three days, TikTok Trivia will have two live sessions per day of one hour each. The first session will begin at 8 p.m. ET and the second at 9 p.m. ET.

After each quiz session, TikTok will recommend creators who are currently livestreaming on TikTok LIVE to users. The short video app recently raised the age requirement to host live streams to 18.
The host of TikTok Trivia is content creator James Henry, who you might recognize from the “You’ve been scrolling too long” videos that appeared on your For You feed. Henry has 4.2 million followers on TikTok.

The new trivia experience is likely to be exciting for many TikTok users, not only “John Wick” fans, but also users who remember HQ Trivia, the 12-question live video trivia game where users can participate in several daily games and win real money. HQ Trivia closed in 2020.
