That 90s showthe new netflix That 70s show sequel series, brings a bunch of familiar faces back to Point Place, with original stars Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, Topher Grace, Laura Prepon and Wilmer Valderrama all reprising their roles in cameo appearances – but one actor is noticeably absent: Danny Masterson.
Masterson played Eric Forman’s (Grace) best friend Steven Hyde on all eight seasons of That 70s showbut lately he has been otherwise busy in court.
In June 2020, the actor was arrested and charged with raping three women in separate incidents that occurred between 2001 and 2003. Masterson denied all charges and pleaded not guilty.
In November 2022, the case was declared a mistrial after jurors were unable to reach a unanimous decision. A new trial is scheduled for March.
Following the mistrial, E! News has contacted Masterson’s attorney Philippe Cohen for comment, but had no response.
So how is it going That 90s show remedy the omission of his character? Well, it simply isn’t.
Steven (better known as Hyde) is never even mentioned by name and no information is given about his whereabouts.
