Presentation of the formula
$32.00/0.1oz. – $320.00 per ounce
The formula is said to be “rich in pigment” and have a “foiled metallic finish” that “glides on seamlessly.” The brand said it can be used with a brush or fingertips for application. They were surprisingly metallic in their finish – smooth, seamless, sure, but metallic? Barely, which was a surprise considering the intensity of some of the brand’s pressed eyeshadows. I would have expected something similar here, as brands typically use loose squeeze formulas like this to add more glide/smoothness to achieve a stronger shimmer/glitter effect without having fallout.
The eye shadows were pigmented, however, and I had no trouble applying them with fingertips or brushes. The texture was moderately dense, slightly emollient, and felt like a cream-to-powder hybrid that was still mostly powder-based. These shades lasted eight and a half to nine hours on me.
