If you’ve never experienced New York Fashion Week from start to finish, it’s hard to describe the kind of beautiful chaos that ensues season after season. Without a doubt, the week-long saga is one of the most rewarding of the year for people who, like me, value fashion above all else. That being said, it’s also the busiest, with preparation starting well in advance and work lasting from sunrise to sunset (and beyond) for the majority of attendees. As the final final of the week begins, there’s usually a synchronized sigh of relief, quickly followed by the realization that you’re already late for the airport, on your way to London to start all over again.
Between fashion shows spread all over Brooklyn and Manhattan, presentations happening in every available time slot, previews, re-watches, and of course dinners and parties, things to do and do not miss. So to give you a taste of what NYFW is all about Really As with seven of the Who What Wear editors, we thought we’d open our gratitude journals/journals/outfit books/picture books/survival guides to all of you. Scroll down for 72 Hours of NYFW as noted by WWW. And stay tuned for updates as other publishers share their highlights.
