Presentation of the formula
$12.00/0.08oz. – $150.00 per ounce
The formula is said to have a “cream-to-powder texture” that’s “kissproof once set” with a “silky, weightless feel” on the lips. The brand made no specific claims about pigmentation in its description, but promotional swatches included at point of purchase show fully opaque coverage across the board.
They have a very light, mousse-like, very light, velvety and smooth texture with good spreadability. The applicator held a good amount of product without being too generous, as I didn’t feel like I had to wipe off the excess. They took a few minutes to dry and the drying time varied a bit between certain shades. They were forgiving of most lip textures and weren’t too prone to accenting or settling on lip lines.
Most shades had opaque color coverage in one layer of product. With deeper shades, two coats tended to be better for full, even coverage, although the shades themselves were quite pigmented in one coat, but they were more prone to smearing and spreading so uneven. Shades tended to dry in 15 minutes, with some drying in five minutes for a more transfer-resistant finish.
The formula wore between four and eight hours on me with deeper reddish undertones that last longer and leave subtle smudges behind. They did not dry out over time. I didn’t notice any smell or taste.
