H&M burned me more than any other retailer. Too often when I hesitated before buying a piece of the brand, it is sold out. Style and price combine to create a perfect storm that consistently leads to sales. This, while good for the brand, is a bummer for anyone on the other side of the interaction. Because of this, I tweaked my action plan while shopping on the site, which basically means I don’t hesitate when I find something really good – I take action.
When I checked H&M’s homepage yesterday afternoon and saw that its spring edition had been discontinued, I immediately started browsing the latest new arrivals page. After doing a bit of shopping for myself, I couldn’t go on with my week without sharing the news before her best pieces sold out.
