On Tuesday, the model posted a slideshow on Instagram that showed her posing in Los Angeles wearing a vintage jersey-style t-shirt from Springy Jeans, a 23 Lux leather bomber jacket, red socks and a pair of blue sneakers from the fastest growing sneaker brand of the year.
To be specific, Bieber wears a pair of blue and red XT-4 Low-Top sneakers from Salomon, a French sportswear brand that has received official fashion approval in recent years, with comments on the likes of Bella Hadid and Emily. Ratajkowski and shows from Sandy Liang’s Spring/Summer 2022 and MM6 Maison Margiela’s Spring/Summer 2023 shows. This transition away from strictly practical, sports-focused shoes led to the brand’s popularity surging at luxury sneaker retailer StockX, where Salomon saw a jump of over 2,000% (2,277% specifically) in year-over-year exchanges, according to the brand’s 2023 Current Culture Index.
With such rapid growth in popularity, however, comes the problem of sales, and you’ll be hard pressed to find a more frequently sold brand than Salomon.
