I may be showing my weirdness a bit here, but believe me when I say I’m always ready (with notes) to argue with anyone who tells me they didn’t like Ariana Grande’s iconic video for his single “Thank U, Next.” I know I’m being a bit dramatic, but when a piece of *art* perfectly captures and recreates the iconic movies of your teenage years, you tend to overdo the love and affection a bit.
Although it’s been years since the video was released, I was thrilled to learn recently that Grande and her REM Beauty brand have decided to give people what they want in the form of a gorgeous new collection. Thank U, Next which pays tribute to the video. Along with getting the launch news, I was also thrilled to hear that Grande’s longtime makeup artist, Daniel Chinchilla, shared some tips in a YouTube video on how to create one of Grande’s signature looks. using the new collection. Don’t worry, I made sure it didn’t stop at just one look either. I asked Chinchilla for a second look he would choose to recreate, as well as the products he would use to do so.
