The Shadowsticks are “powerfully pigmented” and have “one swipe coverage” that will last over 10 hours. Most of the shades had semi-opaque color coverage, with a few shades being able to build or start with near-opaque pigmentation in one pass.
The texture was smooth, slightly creamy without being too wet and comfortable to work on the entire eyelid. They were a bit sticky initially, but once set they were more impact resistant and would lift if attempted to blend or diffuse later, so working quickly would be ideal.
For an all-over wash of the more shimmery, neutral shades, I found them to be fairly easy to work with, but there was a slight learning curve. For the bolder, more matte shades, they were easier to use as an eyeliner or as a graphic form/base for other products.
Once in place, the Shadowsticks generally lasted between 10 and 12 hours on me, with a few of the more emollient/sheer shades being on the shorter end of the range.
